You'll drive equipment bring-up and process development for precision assembly technologies at contract manufacturers. Your core impact is ensuring robust high-volume manufacturing for Starlink User Terminals, from supplier selection to field performance feedback. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge joining, dispensing, and inspection systems for space-grade hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end process development and equipment qualification at contract manufacturers
• Lead development of ultrasonic welding, hot plate welding, and vibration welding processes
• Optimize precision dispensing for thermal interface materials, adhesives, and sealants
• Establish automated optical inspection systems with deep learning-based defect detection

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials science, or other engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in precision joining, dispensing, and automated inspection process development
• Experience with consumer electronics or complex hardware manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with line qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and PPAP at contract manufacturers
