💼 About This Role

You'll lead Trainline's global privacy strategy as Data Protection Officer, operating at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Security. You'll embed privacy by design into everything we build and support AI-driven products with pragmatic, risk-based guidance. This role is unique in balancing regulatory expertise with a fast-paced, product-led culture at a FTSE 250 company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead global privacy strategy and programme
• Act as appointed DPO and engage with supervisory authorities
• Embed privacy by design into product development lifecycle
• Advise on AI, machine learning, and data-driven products

📋 Requirements

• Significant experience in a privacy leadership role, ideally as DPO
• Deep knowledge of UK/EU data protection regulations in a commercial context
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering in fast-paced environments
• Ability to balance regulatory requirements with business innovation
