Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Atlas Growth 2 team, you will lead complex projects building customer-facing features for MongoDB's developer data platform. You'll work in cross-functional squads focused on metrics like retention, collaborating with product, design, and research to validate features using an in-house experiments platform.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Fluency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Proficiency in Java, Go, C++/C, or similar compiled language
• Experience writing database queries and indexes
• Experience writing and reviewing technical specs

Responsibilities

• Contribute readable, well-tested, and debuggable code
• Work closely with product management to guide roadmap of customer-facing features
• Write scope and technical spec docs for large projects
• Lead small working groups of two to three engineers
• Provide mentorship to peers and participate in on-call rotation
