Description

You will design, build, test, and commission critical ground systems that support Rocket Lab's Electron and Neutron launch vehicles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient systems for space missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of engineering design, testing, or operations in aerospace or industrial sectors
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, EPDM)
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment

Responsibilities

• Design launch vehicle transporters, erectors, launchers, and ground support tooling
• Develop fluid systems including cryogenics
• Perform structural design and analysis for high-vibration environments
• Create 2D/3D models using SolidWorks, NX
• Lead project delivery for facility and system builds
