Description

You will design and plan outside plant telecommunications infrastructure for copper and fiber networks, including aerial, buried, and conduit systems. You'll prepare engineering drawings, manage project budgets from design through construction, and ensure compliance with permitting regulations by coordinating with various agencies and utilities.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong background in OSP engineering
• Experience in design, planning, and implementation of copper and fiber networks
• Knowledge of permitting regulations and engineering standards
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure quality compliance
• Proficiency with FROGS (CAD), Varasset, SiteTracker

Responsibilities

• Design and plan OSP facilities for copper and fiber (aerial, buried, conduit)
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Conduct field measurements for poles, conduits, and buried facilities
• Prepare and submit permit packages to agencies (Township, County, State, DNR, Railroad, Pipeline)
• Coordinate with municipalities, other utilities, and SSP contractors
