You'll lead climate policy advocacy in the Michigan legislature, building relationships with lawmakers and coalitions to advance state-level climate action. Your work will directly shape Climate Cabinet's legislative strategy and drive real-world outcomes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Represent Climate Cabinet in the Michigan legislature by building lawmaker relationships and lobbying
• Shape and advance Climate Cabinet's Michigan legislative and political strategy
• Work in coalition with state activists, organizations, lawmakers, and funders
• Track, evaluate, and communicate impact of Climate Cabinet's engagement in Michigan

📋 Requirements

• Experience in Michigan lobbying, coalition spaces, or Michigan politics
• Expertise in state-led climate and energy policy and politics
• Track record of turning strategy into outcomes with coalition work
• Strong communication skills across diverse audiences

• Expertise in at least one policy area (climate, energy, transportation, land use, environmental justice, agriculture, resilience)
• Experience with fundraising activities
