💼 About This Role

You'll establish NewOrbit's mission operations capability from scratch, defining how spacecraft are commanded, monitored, and operated. You'll lead the setup of mission control, define spacecraft-ground interfaces, and support LEOP, commissioning, and anomaly response. This role offers unmatched ownership and pioneering space technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead development of mission operations concept
• Define mission control centre requirements
• Manage spacecraft-to-ground interfaces
• Develop operational concept for LEOP and routine ops

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 2-5 years experience in spacecraft operations
• Strong understanding of real-time flight operations
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree
• Experience with SCOS-2000, EGS-CC, or similar
• Familiarity with CCSDS and ECSS standards
