Description

You will prepare technical reports, designs, and cost estimates for water supply projects, assist with project management, lead fieldwork, and mentor junior staff. Collaborate with senior engineers and clients to deliver designs that meet regulatory and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering + 4 years water supply design experience, or Master's + 3 years
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ArcGIS a plus
• EIT, PE license or actively pursuing PE registration
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Prepares technical memoranda, reports, calculations, designs, drawings, specifications, permit applications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates
• Assists Project Manager with schedules and budgets, reports progress, identifies out-of-scope work
• Works with subconsultants and serves as Lead Designer on less complex projects
• Reviews calculations and design assumptions to assure quality control
• Leads fieldwork: surveying, GPS data collection, infrastructure inspection, water sampling, construction observation
