💼 About This Role

You'll join the Software & Automation team to close hard automation gaps and build the next layer of factory automation. You'll design, integrate, and refine systems for seamless autonomous factory operations, working directly on the factory floor. This role offers the chance to solve messy high-leverage problems at the boundary of software, hardware, and process.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Keep automation running and improve fragile systems.
• Increase automation level to reduce manual operator tasks.
• Integrate hardware and software, including IO components and protocols.
• Collaborate with process teams to automate new processes.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Mechatronics, CS) or equivalent.
• Experience designing and deploying control systems in real operating environments.
• Foundational understanding of at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C++, TypeScript).
• Experience integrating hardware with electrical systems.

• Protocol knowledge (Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT).
• Experience with AI-assisted development and debugging.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical principles for automated equipment.
