💼 About This Role

You'll own the full lifecycle of a high-volume footwear category, from building seasonal assortments to managing vendor relationships. You'll bring together market instincts, analytical rigor, and a growing AI toolkit to make fast decisions that impact revenue. This role reports into the Senior Director of Merchandising.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Source and assess merchandise based on market trends and sales history
• Foster vendor relationships and negotiate discounts, terms, promotional windows
• Create SKU/PO spreadsheets, build purchase orders under tight deadlines
• Collaborate with Marketing to create selling strategies and manage promotions

📋 Requirements

• 3–5 years of Buying experience
• Strong analytical skills and effective negotiation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and retail math fundamentals
• Comfortable with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and eager to grow
