Description

You will develop cutting-edge next-generation FPGAs and ASICs for deployment in space and ground infrastructures, enabling connectivity through the Starlink network. Your work will involve pre-silicon emulation, test bench design, and close collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to expand system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or physics
• 5+ years of experience developing ASICs or FPGAs
• Experience with emulation platforms (e.g., Palladium, Veloce, ZeBu)
• Knowledge of high-speed SerDes architectures and Ethernet/PCIe protocol layers
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python for test automation

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-silicon emulation of critical systems of next-generation ASICs
• Work within a small team to rapidly develop and bring up custom SpaceX silicon
• Design, build, validate, and automate test benches for full characterization of custom silicon
• Define test infrastructure logic and improve testability in collaboration with design and software teams
• Design and build modular, reusable instrument driver libraries and test automation sequences in C/C++ or Python
