💼 About This Role

You'll plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers/preschoolers (18 months to 5 years) in a social justice-focused organization. You'll ensure compliance with licensing regulations and supervise staff to create a nurturing, child-centered environment. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a radically inclusive community.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor, direct, protect, and nurture children daily
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and learning areas
• Develop age-appropriate curriculum and assess child development
• Supervise staff and maintain caregiver/child ratios

📋 Requirements

• BA degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid teacher's permit from CA Dept. of Education
• Minimum 17-24 ECE units including 12 core, 2 supervising adults, 3 Infant/Toddler Care
• Experience supervising staff in a toddler/preschool program

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Title 22 and Title V regulations
• Familiarity with CLASS, ITERS, and ECERS scales
• CPR and First Aid certification
