Description

You will serve as an in-house expert on AI policy and politics, developing policy frameworks and strategic messaging to help Democratic stakeholders navigate AI. You'll conduct research, draft communications, and collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI expertise into the team's products.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of technology policy, especially AI regulation and governance
• 2-5 years experience in tech policy, campaigns, government, or advocacy
• Familiarity with survey research and polling methodology
• Strong understanding of Democratic political ecosystem
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze AI policy developments at federal, state, and international levels
• Develop policy briefs and strategic recommendations on AI regulation, safety, competition, privacy
• Design survey research and message testing on voter perceptions of AI
• Draft messaging guides and talking points for Democratic stakeholders
• Present AI expertise at client meetings, conferences, and events
