Description

You will diagnose and repair complex HVAC and control systems, perform startups, and train customers on equipment operations. You'll provide field recommendations for retrofits and upgrades, assist sales with technical leads, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Certificate from Apprenticeship Program
• Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in servicing HVAC systems
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Professional neat appearance and presentation
• Ability to participate in On-Call Rotation
• Ability to operate fork truck
• NATE certification
• EPA Refrigeration License
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass Criminal Background Checks and Drug Testing

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex HVAC and control systems
• Apply knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems
• Test, service, and maintain these systems
• Provide field recommendations for retrofits, upgrades, or enhancements
• Assist sales by providing technical recommendations
• Interface with service manager, project manager, or subcontractors
• Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies
• Assist with job layouts and bid proposals
• Perform startup and train customers on HVAC equipment and control systems
• Setup configurable controllers and complete documentation
• Use manufacturer/vendor websites and catalogs for technical documentation and replacement parts
