💼 About This Role

You'll own GovWell's deployment and reliability platform, building CI/CD foundations and observability systems for production-safe operations. Your work will directly enable engineering teams to ship quickly and safely as the company scales. This founding role offers exceptional autonomy and impact on mission-critical government workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own deployment and reliability platform for production systems
• Build and evolve CI/CD foundations for shipping speed and safety
• Establish observability systems including metrics, logging, and alerting
• Lead incident response practices and postmortems

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a backend, infrastructure, or platform engineer
• Deep understanding of reliability, distributed systems, and operational failure modes
• Own CI/CD, observability, incident response, and production operations end-to-end
• Strong coder in Node/TypeScript or similar

✨ Nice to Have

• Advanced user of modern AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, GPT-based workflows)
• Experience with SOC 2 readiness and security compliance
