Description

As a Habilitation Technician, you will provide 1:1 support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in their home and community. Your role involves engaging in hobbies, assisting with daily tasks, and promoting independence through patience and encouragement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Driver's license and transportation
• One year experience with IDD preferred but not required
• Compassionate and patient demeanor

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with meal preparation and everyday tasks
• Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments
• Teach and encourage small achievements to foster growth
• Provide personal care assistance as needed
