Description

As the Mobile Architect, you will define the long-term technical vision and architectural roadmap for Okta's mobile products, including Okta Verify, FastPass, Device Assurance, and public SDKs. You will lead cross-functional alignment on complex technical strategies and set best practices for engineering teams.

Requirements

• 18+ years software development experience, 8+ years architecting large-scale enterprise software focused on macOS/iOS
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift/Objective-C, Appkit/SwiftUI, iOS/macOS internals
• Strong understanding of Android platform and related technologies (Kotlin, Java, Android SDK)
• Experience designing secure, performant, resilient cross-platform mobile solutions
• Proven ability to thrive in agile environments with CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Define and champion mobile architectural vision and long-term technical roadmap
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior engineers
• Lead architectural review and decision-making for foundational components
• Collaborate with Product Management, Security, and Engineering leaders
• Stay up-to-date with mobile trends and recommend new approaches
