💼 About This Role

You'll lead the compute, data, and AI infrastructure that powers a world-class sequencing operation. You'll build cloud and pipeline systems to process terabytes of genomic data and orchestrate millions of bioinformatics tasks. You'll also design internal tooling for agentic systems like Quality Scientist Agents and Logistics Agents.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own core services orchestrating lab devices and data ingestion
• Build cloud infrastructure for terabytes of sequencing data
• Design infrastructure for bioinformatics task orchestration
• Build AI infrastructure for agentic systems and internal tooling

📋 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics or similar technical field
• 7+ years of industry experience (or equivalent)
• Experience building LLM/agent systems (tooling, evaluation, safety)
• Strong experience with Python backend services (Flask/Django/FastAPI)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with DNA sequencing bioinformatics workflows
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CDK
• Experience with distributed systems and task queues (Celery, SQS)
