You'll work on backend and infrastructure systems to design, build, and maintain a fast and reliable user experience for customers at Semgrep, a leader in code security. Collaborate with engineers to develop APIs, data models, and services powering products at scale. This role offers the chance to work with a modern tech stack including Python, Flask, and Kubernetes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend APIs and data models
• Optimize database queries and system performance
• Integrate third-party vendors into existing codebase
• Deploy and maintain services on AWS via Kubernetes

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong understanding of databases and query optimization
• Experience with distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or similar language

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Flask or SQLAlchemy
• Familiarity with TypeScript or React
• Experience in cybersecurity or code analysis
