💼 About This Role

You'll support emergency veterinary care as a per diem assistant at VEG. You'll assist with triage, treatments, diagnostics, and anesthesia monitoring while learning from experienced technicians. This role offers growth pathways and RECOVER CPR certification.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Triage incoming patients and guide them toward care
• Assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics
• Set up and monitor anesthesia and sedation cases
• Manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medication administration

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years in a veterinary assistant role
• Basic computer skills and understanding of practice management software
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
• Emergency or specialty veterinary experience
