You'll join M-KOPA's Credit Eligibility team to shape credit risk and eligibility decisions for millions across Africa. Your analysis will directly determine who gets a loan, on what terms, and how we manage risk at scale. This role combines financial inclusion with rigorous data science, influencing over $2 billion in credit unlocked to 7+ million customers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze repayments data to improve credit scorecards and eligibility criteria
• Refine loan pricing based on credit analysis and customer behaviour
• Test new loan types to understand demand and credit performance
• Monitor credit performance to detect risk shifts and quantify margin impact

📋 Requirements

• Statistical modelling and quantitative analysis skills
• Experience in credit, underwriting, or lending analytics
• Fluency in Python and SQL
• Ability to translate complex data insights into business strategies
