💼 About This Role

You'll lead the EMEA Controllership team overseeing statutory audits, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. Your core impact will be driving finance transformation initiatives and championing AI adoption to enhance efficiency. This senior role at a high-growth global payments platform offers true ownership and accelerated learning.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end controllership for EMEA entities, ensuring timely close in Oracle Fusion.
• Manage external audits and regulatory financial reporting (FINREP, COREP).
• Build and enhance internal controls framework for SOX-readiness.
• Mentor EMEA Finance Manager(s) and drive team development.
• Own Finance workstream for new licence applications and market expansion.

📋 Requirements

• IFRS expertise including complex areas such as revenue recognition and financial instruments.
• Statutory audit experience managing external audit relationships end-to-end.
• Regulatory reporting knowledge (FINREP, COREP) under DNB/ECB frameworks.
• Oracle Fusion ERP experience for financial close and reporting.

• Experience with EMI or credit institution licensing processes.
• Knowledge of AI tools and large language models applied to finance.
