Description

You will develop and maintain high-fidelity 6-DOF simulation software for autonomous drones, supporting GNC algorithm development, test, and validation. Your work will involve building digital twins and integrating with flight control and autonomy software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, CS, or Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with focus on dynamic systems and control
• 8+ years professional experience in modeling and simulation for airborne platforms
• Proficiency in C++, Matlab, Simulink, Simulink Embedded Coder, and Python
• Experience in Monte-Carlo simulations and flight test data analysis
• Extensive experience modeling aerodynamics, rotorcraft dynamics, sensors, and actuators

Responsibilities

• Develop 6DOF and GNC algorithm simulation solutions
• Maintain SITL and HITL tests
• Work with flight software team to integrate GNC software
• Perform characterization work for fixed wing and rotorcraft
• Review flight test data to verify vehicle performance and debug incidents
