Description

You will design, improve, and maintain the core package set supporting software distribution at Anduril. You'll create internal tooling, establish standards, and plan architectural changes to enable development, hosted services, and embedded devices.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Nix, Nixpkgs, NixOS, and functional programming
• Deep understanding of build systems and packaging ecosystems
• Ability to dive into large systems and improve them with Nix
• Experience with Rust, C++, Go, Python, or Haskell
• Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal package set for software distribution across the company
• Package open-source and proprietary software components using Nix
• Improve developer ergonomics by defining Nix usage standards and creating tooling
• Integrate Nix with developer workflows
• Provide assistance, training, and mentorship to team members
