💼 About This Role

You'll design and integrate computer and sensor hardware into large autonomous construction and mining vehicles at Teleo, a Havoc company. You'll work on 100,000-pound autonomous robots and engineer complex systems at the intersection of hardware, software, robotics, and AI. This role offers a chance to contribute to real-world defense and commercial robotics.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design mechanical components and integrate sensors into vehicles
• Develop hardware specifications and documentation
• Conduct structural and thermal analysis of systems
• Test and deploy systems to ensure field reliability

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Proven experience with CAD (SolidWorks, Catia, Creo, or similar)
• Experience with vehicle component design including material selection and manufacturing
• Experience with structural, vibration, or thermal analysis

✨ Nice to Have

• 2+ years developing sensor hardware for autonomous vehicles
• Experience with FEA tools (Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran)
• Familiarity with Python or C++ and software version control
