Description

As a Lead Software Engineer on the Security team, you'll drive critical security initiatives—building automated detection and response, providing architectural guidance, partnering with engineering and business teams to strengthen our secure-by-default posture across cloud, code, and endpoints, and mentoring teammates to foster a pragmatic security culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of broad, hands-on experience across multiple security domains with strong software engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or C# with production-quality coding and review skills
• Track record of partnering across product, platform, and business functions for company-wide security outcomes
• Ability to deliver holistic, scalable prevention across security domains favoring paved roads over one-off fixes
• Ability to think like both an attacker and defender to improve prevention, detection, and response

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive, secure-by-default protections across cloud, CI/CD, applications, and endpoints via paved roads and guardrails
• Provide practical security guidance on new products and technologies, emphasizing secure-by-default patterns
• Lead design reviews and threat modeling for high-impact features and services
• Build and scale security tooling to prevent issues at build/deploy time and automate detection and response
• Evolve detection and incident response capabilities to improve signal quality and automated containment
