๐ผ About This Role
You'll define and scale community and social features (leaderboards, streaks, friend graphs) for a pet-tech startup, treating social as a growth engine to drive acquisition and daily engagement. You'll own the roadmap from concept to launch, working cross-functionally to ship on a weekly cadence.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Define long-term vision for leaderboards, streaks, friend graphs, and local connection.
- Design social features as growth channels to drive user acquisition.
- Create habit-forming notification, streak, and re-engagement mechanics.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, ML, data, marketing, and CX to ship weekly.
๐ Requirements
- 3-5 years shipping social or gamification features at scale in a consumer product.
- Behavioral design intuition: think in habits, hooks, streaks, and reciprocity.
- Experience treating social features as a growth channel, not just retention surface.
- Mobile product depth across iOS and Android including notification fatigue, deep linking, share sheets, and App Store policies.
โจ Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude and cowork to accelerate product cycles.
- Experience with pet or health/fitness consumer products.
