💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the primary owner of Layer 3 networking on firewalls at SpaceX, supporting mission, factory, and corporate networks. Your work will directly enable humanity's goal of exploring the stars. This role offers the chance to solve complex network security challenges in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Configure and manage complex networks on Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls
• Design and manage multi-path eBGP fabrics from scratch
• Provide subject matter expertise on network security and best practices
• Collaborate with teams to develop secure architectures

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or 8+ years of network security experience
• 3+ years of experience securing networks, IT infrastructure, and endpoints
• Expert understanding of firewalls (Palo Alto, Juniper)
• Experience configuring complex eBGP fabrics and large multi-path networks

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with switch/router ACLs and network access control
• Familiarity with IPSec/TLS VPNs and web application firewalls
• Experience with SIEM logging and alerting
