You'll develop multi-modal sensor fusion and spatial-temporal representation learners for Waymo's self-driving cars, focusing on real-world challenges like driving in snow and rain. Your work directly improves vehicle safety in degraded conditions using large-scale ML models.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Apply ML techniques to build multi-modal sensor fusion and perception models.
• Develop scalable training recipes for large data and large models.
• Create methods for distributed fine-tuning and regression avoidance.
• Maintain evaluation metrics for pretrained and fine-tuned models.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS or equivalent with 5+ years ML/CV experience.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.

✨ Nice to Have

• MS or PhD in ML, Robotics, or related field.
• Publications at top-tier conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, etc.).
• Experience with C++.
