Description

You will engage customers in Japan to gather requirements and explain Canonical's IoT and embedded Linux solutions. You'll participate in presales and delivery projects, acting as a trusted advisor and customer advocate to help build reliable and secure devices with Ubuntu Core.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Extensive Linux experience (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
• Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...) or RTOS
• Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
• Professional written and spoken English and Japanese

Responsibilities

• Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain technology
• Elaborate solutions proposed to prospective clients
• Participate in delivery of select embedded Linux projects
• Convey market requirements to key stakeholders
• Be both a customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical
