💼 About This Role

You'll assist the Hair & Make-Up Supervisor in all areas of the HMU department for American Ballet Theatre productions. You'll execute hair styling and makeup application, maintain wig inventory, and oversee operations during tours both domestically and internationally. This role requires IATSE union membership and extensive travel.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Applying wigs, makeup, styling hair, and running a show track.
• Executing quick changes for each ballet during performances.
• Assisting in load-in, set-up, tech, strike, and pack for tours.
• Maintaining wig stock inventory and HMU supplies.

📋 Requirements

• Experience running live theatrical performance with hair and wig specialization.
• Ability to apply theatrical makeup, prosthetics, and special effects.
• Proficiency in wig styling, including period styles, braiding, and roller sets.
• Valid passport and ability to join IATSE union upon hiring.

✨ Nice to Have

• Ability to ventilate wigs.
• Knowledge of period hair history.
