Description

In this role, you will design and implement physics-based simulation software for complex multi-vehicle space missions, analyze system-of-systems performance, and drive program-level requirements. You will collaborate across engineering groups to make critical design decisions and own key trades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years experience with modeling and simulation
• Software development experience in C++ or Python
• Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance (preferred)
• Experience with state estimation algorithms and RF communication (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Build software tools and scenarios for system-of-systems performance analysis of satellites, sensors, communications, and ground infrastructure
• Conduct analyses and recommend designs balancing competing requirements
• Develop 6-DOF dynamics simulation models for GNC systems analysis and validation
• Develop physics-based models for RF communications and sensor systems simulation
• Assess feasibility of designs and create a library of space and ground systems models
