Description

You will architect, refactor, and enhance payments systems to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable feature delivery across the payment life cycle. You'll provide technical leadership, guide design and execution of high-impact solutions, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years professional experience delivering projects
• Significant server-side web app development, preferably Ruby on Rails
• 3+ years experience with payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
• Experience leading large projects with multiple engineers
• Proficiency in relational databases, preferably Postgres

Responsibilities

• Architect, refactor, and enhance payments systems for security, scalability, and reliability
• Provide technical leadership in developing, testing, and rolling out next-generation payments system
• Lead execution of large projects involving multiple engineers and complex requirements
• Design frameworks for defensive testing and best practices in payment processing
• Coach and mentor other engineers, fostering an inclusive team culture
