Description

As a Software Engineer on the Data Foundations team, you will design and build scalable platforms and systems that enable data-driven decision making across Stripe. You'll collaborate with engineers to develop financial platform systems with direct business impact.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience delivering, extending, and maintaining large scale distributed systems
• Experience designing elegant abstractions over complex patterns in the financial industry
• High bar for production systems
• Proven track record of solving complex problems elegantly
• Capable of working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across engineering teams
• Work with engineers to build new features at large-scale
• Maintain a collaborative environment and engage in decision-making with stakeholders
