Description

As a Material Planner at Rocket Lab, you will manage MRP and planning for every part the company makes or buys, acting as a quarterback to coordinate operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, and finance to ensure timely production and delivery.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience and bachelor's in engineering, business, or supply chain
• Proven ability to produce material line of balance and clear to build reviews
• Knowledge of Material Planning fundamentals and MRP systems
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, math, and statistics
• Experience in aerospace, EV automotive, or disruptive manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage demand, supply, and fulfilment planning within MRP
• Maintain bill of materials, parts, and master data in ERP
• Timely release of purchase planning messages to procurement
• Timely release of work orders to production
• Create visibility of material position using reports
• Update demand for engineering changes and communicate to procurement
