Description

In this role, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects for GFiber's internet deployment initiatives. You'll manage project schedules, budgets, and contractor performance while working with cross-functional teams to bring new technologies to markets. This position requires being on-the-ground in Las Vegas to execute and oversee fiber network projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Telecommunications or related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years experience in vendor management, managing contractors, quality assurance, and scheduling
• Experience developing contracts, invoicing, project scheduling, cost engineering, budgeting, and forecasting
• 8 years experience with fiber network deployments (preferred)
• Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, ESRI, and fiber network infrastructure (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage program management functions including project initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing
• Operate across internal and external groups to implement operational processes
• Lead process improvements for efficiency in deployment and operations
• Manage project budgets, scheduling, contractor resource assignment and track contractor performance
• Manage proposals, SOWs, bids, scope definition, engineering design cycles and approvals
