💼 About This Role

You'll build a best-in-class Health, Safety & Environment function from the ground up for a high-growth multi-site business. You'll design safety systems, ensure multi-jurisdictional compliance, and shape a culture where every worker feels protected. This role offers the chance to own the HSE mandate across a national footprint and report directly to the Director, People Operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain the **Safety Management System** with certification pathway
• Lead hazard assessments and incident investigations across all sites
• Design and deliver national HSE training programs and compliance audits
• Coach site leadership on visible-felt-leadership and **worker engagement**

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience in production/logistics
• Professional designation (CRSP, CSP, or equivalent)
• Deep knowledge of multi-jurisdictional OHSA and related regulations
• Experience building safety management systems from the ground up

• Experience in the automotive or e-commerce industry
• Training Within Industry (TWI) facilitation experience
• Experience with WSIB claims management and return-to-work programs
