Description

You will design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs using Java Spring Boot and .NET Core for a leading financial institution under a hybrid model in Ecuador. Your work will focus on scalable, secure, and resilient solutions, leading technical debt reduction, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as Senior Backend Developer
• Advanced Java Spring Boot and .NET Core (70% back-end / 30% front-end with Angular)
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server / BUS
• Deep knowledge of design patterns, architecture, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, automated testing, and security practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs using Java Spring Boot and .NET Core
• Apply design patterns and architectural principles (SOLID, DDD, hexagonal)
• Manage technical debt through refactoring, modularity, and clean code
• Implement secure system integrations (REST, messaging, WebSphere) with version control and resilience
• Design CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployments
