Description

As a fully remote OASIS and Coding Review Specialist, you will ensure accuracy of OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding for home health care clients, using your clinical expertise to improve documentation quality and prevent Medicare denials. You'll collaborate with clinicians and service offices to support compliance with CMS guidelines and PDGM billing.

Requirements

• Active RN, PT, OT, or SLP license with 2+ years clinical experience
• COS-C, HCS-O, or COQS OASIS certification
• BCHH-C or HCS-D home health coding certification
• Competency in PC skills
• Experience with HCHB, SHP, and Coding Center preferred

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS and ICD-10 coding for accuracy using PDGM and CMS guidelines
• Communicate OASIS edit recommendations to clinicians
• Perform final review and lock OASIS documents
• Maintain productivity targets set by Director of MCM
• Provide education and support to offices on coding and billing issues
