💼 About This Role

You'll own feature development within Ruby on Rails backend services that power PrizePicks' member engagement and lifecycle marketing. Your work will directly impact millions of daily transactions and help scale a rapidly growing daily fantasy sports platform. You'll also collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, data, and product teams to translate campaign requirements into reliable technical implementations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own feature delivery from technical design through production
• Write idiomatic, performant, and well-tested Ruby code
• Design and own integrations with CDP and marketing automation tools
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

📋 Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Ruby on Rails
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with a Customer Data Platform (e.g., Segment, Rudderstack)

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Deeper data engineering background with dbt, Spark, or Airflow
• Experience building user segmentation or audience management systems
