💼 About This Role

You'll lead the build and tooling engineering teams for maritime autonomous service vessels, coordinating efforts to accelerate product transition from development to full rate production. This role directly impacts scaling innovative maritime technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage tooling requests, development, and validation across all products.
• Lead build engineering team to meet configuration management standards.
• Coordinate build and tooling efforts to prioritize and respond to challenges.
• Act as liaison between engineering and production teams to resolve issues.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years managing build or tooling engineering teams.
• Familiarity with maritime industry standards (ABS, coast guard regulations).
• Experience in shipyard or onboard ships.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software (Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX).
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and weld symbols.
• Strong communication skills across engineers and leadership.
