Description

You will define and build scalable developer infrastructure including build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling to accelerate engineering and research workflows at Anthropic. This is foundational to enabling safe and reliable AI systems at scale.

Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience building large-scale developer infrastructure
• 3+ years leading complex projects or teams as engineer/tech lead
• Deep experience with build systems, CI/CD, developer tooling in large monorepo
• Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go
• Experience with container orchestration and infrastructure at scale

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy and roadmap for developer productivity area
• Define infrastructure architecture solving hardest problems
• Design and build scalable distributed infrastructure and shared libraries
• Evolve build environments, package management, and dependency systems
• Define language ecosystem standards, tooling, and frameworks
