You'll lead development of a cloud-based platform for global antenna scheduling and customer booking at Northwood Space, a high-velocity space communications startup. Your core impact is designing scalable systems for resource allocation, billing, and customer-facing APIs that enable seamless access to a global satellite ground station network. This role combines deep backend engineering with the excitement of space technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop cloud-based scheduling and orchestration system for global antenna network
• Build and maintain customer-facing APIs for scheduling, real-time communications, and data routing
• Design and implement control and data planes for on-premises and cloud integration
• Develop billing and metering systems for resource usage tracking and invoicing

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years building and scaling cloud-based services and APIs in production
• Experience with distributed scheduling systems, resource allocation, or booking platforms
• Proficiency in modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust, Golang, or similar languages for cloud services
• Knowledge of API design, authentication, and access control best practices
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
