Description

You will lead the creation of AI-driven experiences for mobile games like Pokémon GO and Monster Hunter Now. You'll partner with game designers and ML engineers to identify gameplay opportunities, define the AI roadmap, and translate between game design and ML requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in Gaming, Consumer Mobile, or Applied ML.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Data Analytics.
• Deep understanding of game mechanics (F2P, RPG, or Location-Based) and intuition for what makes a game fun.
• Technical fluency to understand capabilities and limitations of LLMs, Reinforcement Learning, and Predictive Modeling.
• Proven track record of picking up new domains quickly and managing trade-offs between creative desires and technical reality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Game Producers and Designers to identify friction points or engagement opportunities where AI/ML can provide unique solutions.
• Create vision and strategy for how Applied ML enhances core game loop, optimizing for fun and retention.
• Act as bridge between ML Engineering team and Game Teams, translating Game Design Intent into ML Requirements.
• Define success metrics blending technical performance (latency/accuracy) with game KPIs (retention/DAU).
• Collaborate with Scopely’s central tech teams to adopt and adapt state-of-the-art ML technologies for location-based needs.
