You'll create and manage CAD site constraints for utility-scale solar projects across California. You'll act as the technical lead for engineering studies and cross-functional coordination to ensure constraints reflect the latest updates. This role offers mentorship of junior engineers and significant cross-functional exposure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create and update CAD constraints throughout project development cycles
• Kick off and manage engineering studies with consultants
• Review preliminary layouts and capacity analyses from junior engineers
• Support utility crossing agreements and substation placement coordination

📋 Requirements

• BS in STEM field (Civil Engineering preferred)
• 4+ years in utility-scale solar industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Commercially-minded with ability to balance details and big picture

• Knowledge of PVCase or PVFarm
• Experience evaluating new technology for layout and design
