💼 About This Role

You'll join the Engine team to build and maintain the runtime for Workato's enterprise orchestration platform, focusing on performance, scaling, and reliability. You'll design and improve distributed backend applications and contribute to the migration from Ruby to GOlang and Rust. This role offers technical leadership in a high-impact, remote-friendly environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and troubleshoot complex Go and Ruby applications
• Improve execution engine for custom third-party code
• Integrate data storage solutions like Postgres, S3, Kafka
• Provide code reviews and technical leadership

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years experience in scalable distributed backend applications
• Excellent understanding of distributed systems patterns and algorithms
• Multilingual programming experience with at least two languages (Ruby/Go/Rust)
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in Go, Rust, WASM
• Background in network programming or Kotlin/Multiplatform
• Experience with data processing pipelines
