💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and maintain systems for CockroachDB Cloud, spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your work will ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure for globally deployed databases. You'll collaborate across teams to enable features like multi-region deployments and elastic scaling.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain internal and customer-facing systems for Cockroach Cloud
• Develop software and systems to increase product reliability and operational efficiency
• Automate deployment of production Kubernetes clusters to maximize performance
• Participate in on-call rotation for production systems and hosted services

📋 Requirements

• Expertise with at least one cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and Cloud APIs
• Expertise in analyzing, monitoring, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Experience managing large projects/initiatives to completion on your own
• Experience running Kubernetes clusters in a production environment

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Proficiency with Go, C, C++, Python, or Java
• Working knowledge of web and network protocols (HTTP, TLS, DNS)
