Description

You'll contribute to designing and improving perception components for autonomous vehicles, analyzing system performance, and tackling long-tail challenges using computer vision and deep learning. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and performance.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
• Solid understanding of deep learning and computer vision
• Experience building, training, or evaluating neural networks
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with PyTorch or similar
• Software engineering fundamentals (version control, code reviews, testing)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve perception components for the autonomy system
• Analyze perception system performance and identify improvements
• Explore creative approaches to long-tail challenges (synthetic data, data mining, new architectures)
• Optimize and deploy models to vehicle hardware within constraints
• Interface with systems, safety, test engineers, and data analysts
