Description

You will lead continuous improvement projects using lean methodologies to refine processes within Carvana's Inspection Center organization, collaborating with various departments to improve throughput, cost, and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years engineering experience in lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Up to 50% travel between facilities
• Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, Word

Responsibilities

• Create justification for major projects with cost savings >$1M
• Obtain buy-in on projects through cross-departmental communication
• Deliver cost reductions on time and under budget
• Serve as subject matter expert in three reconditioning processes
• Develop labor standards and line staffing models
