Description

You will build and own Mesh's M&A and strategic partnerships function from the ground up, identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact opportunities across the crypto payments ecosystem. You'll work closely with leadership to shape the company's trajectory through acquisitions and partnerships.

Requirements

• 5+ years in investment banking, growth, venture capital, product, strategy, or in-house corporate development in fintech or crypto
• Proven experience leading M&A or strategic partnerships from first conversation through close
• Strong grasp of crypto payments infrastructure (stablecoins, on/off-ramps, exchange integrations, custody, compliance)
• Financial modeling skills and ability to pressure-test assumptions
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

• Build and own a high-quality pipeline of M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships across the crypto payments ecosystem
• Lead deals end-to-end from outreach through diligence, negotiation, and close
• Run rigorous financial, product, and commercial diligence and translate findings into recommendations
• Develop investment theses, deal frameworks, and scoring models; present insights to CEO and board
• Track competitive landscape, build relationships with investment banks and advisors
